Project Details

We are currently seeking Medical Professionals and mock patients in the USA to participate in audio conversation recordings These conversations follow specific prompts and cover common adult family medicine chief complaints. No prior experience is required. Training will be provided before the project begins. Key Features

  • Spontaneous (non-scripted): Spontaneous conversation with scenarios (prompts) would be provided by Shaip. Each scenario will provide details about the patient, symptoms for their chief complaint, and relevant medical history. These will be limited to non-urgent conditions as would be encountered in an adult family-medicine practice.
  • Shaip Work App: Works on both IOS and Android devices, making it easy for everyone to join.
  • Focused Duration: Encourages conversations that last at least 5 minutes, with an average of 10 minutes, aiming maximum of 120 minutes of speech hours per participant.
  • In-Person Recording: Both the doctor and patient must be in the same room for this project discussion.
  • Environment Record in real clinic rooms with background noise, like you’d hear in a typical doctor’s office.

Guidelines

  • In-Clinic Recordings: Conduct recordings only in clinics, not remotely.
  • Authentic Sound: Background noises like talking, machines, and room ambiance are welcome to keep conversations authentic.
  • Clinic-Like Setup: Ensure the recording environment resembles a real doctor’s office, including furnishings and noise levels.

Eligible Criteria

  • US healthcare professionals such as a physician, physician assistant, registered nurse or nurse practitioner (herein “Doctors”)
  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
