Project Details
We’re building AI voice models that understand real people, and that means capturing the natural rhythm, accent, and cadence of Puerto Rican Spanish speakers. If you grew up speaking Puerto Rican Spanish or have used it throughout your life, your voice is exactly what this project needs.
The task itself is simple: you’ll use the Shaip app on your smartphone to record a set of short English voice prompts (wake-word phrases). No studio, no commute, just you, your phone, and a quiet space.
You don’t need to be in Puerto Rico. Whether you’re in Orlando, New York, Chicago, Madrid, or anywhere else in the world, if Puerto Rican Spanish is part of who you are, you can participate.
