Project Details
We are inviting native language speakers to participate in an Audio Recording and Transcription Project. This initiative focuses on collecting high-quality speech data from specific languages and regions to support current and future language technology and AI development.
Participants will be required to record audio samples and, where applicable, provide accurate transcriptions. All approved audio samples will be securely stored.
Languages & Target Regions
We are currently sourcing native speakers from the following languages and regions:
Haryanvi / Hindi
Target Regions:
- Interior regions of Haryana
- Haryana–Punjab border areas
Only native speakers with strong familiarity with authentic regional accents are eligible.
Rohingya
- Target Dialect: Cox’s Bazar dialect
- Region: Bangladesh
Native Rohingya speakers residing in or originating from this region are preferred.
Divehi (Thaana Script)
Regions:
- Maldives
- Minicoy Island (Lakshadweep, India)
Participants must be fluent in spoken Divehi and comfortable reading and writing in the Thaana script for transcription tasks.
Sylheti
- Region: Bangladesh
Only native Sylheti speakers with a strong command of the spoken dialect are eligible.
Urdu
- Target Dialect: Pakistan Urdu
- Preferred Region: Lahore
Participants should demonstrate native-level fluency, including accurate regional pronunciation and natural usage.

Project Scope
- Audio recording in the native language
- Clear, natural, and noise-free voice recording
- Transcription of recordings with high accuracy
- All submissions will be reviewed and approved by the QA team
Who Can Apply
- Native speakers from the specified regions
- Linguists, language experts, students, or freelancers
- Individuals with access to a quiet recording environment
- Prior experience is an advantage, but not mandatory
How to Participate
Interested participants can submit their audio samples through the application form or contact us directly. Once reviewed and approved, contributors may be onboarded for current and upcoming language projects.
